Beth Ares has been an RMM ally and volunteer for more than five years and has been a lifelong women’s rights and labor activist. Beth was on the staff of Local 1199 SEIU-Rochester Health Care Hospital and Employees Union for 17 years. She retired as a supervising investigator for the New York State Department of Labor after 21 years.

Beth lives in Sodus with her husband and many pets, and is active in community organizations and her church. She is passionate about the wellbeing of people, animals and the environment.
