Constance Valk is an active retiree who volunteers with her Unitarian Universalist (UU) church, the local YMCA and the Rochester Early Childhood Development Initiative. She also co-facilitates the Rochester Children’s Film Festival.

Connie became interested in farmworkers rights through a Social Justice General Assembly for Immigration Rights in Phoenix, sponsored by her denomination.
